With expanding programs, there are many administrative tasks to do.Whether it's coming the office once a week, once a month, or working on mailing and phone calls from home, we need and appreciate the help. Volunteers in this area help fulfill our mission just as much as individuals who volunteer in elder care facilities.
Special Events/Fundraising Projects
To continue our valuable work, Bessie's Hope depends on fundraising . Volunteers are needed to assist in the planning and implementation of fundraising projects and events. Examples are: Annual Intergenerational Idols Event and the Annual Intergenerational Bowl-athon
Marketing/Public Relations
If you are knowledgeable in Marketing and Public Relations, Bessie's Hope could use your help in expanding community awareness of our organiziation.
Committees and Board of Directors
If you would be interested in information regarding a position on a committee or on our board, please contact us. We are interested in people who see the value in the mission and work of Bessie's Hope and who are willing to represent the organization within their various networks and communities.

Current Volunteer Opportunities!!
Experience our Community & Elders program in action. We are currently looking for more volunteers to participate in the Wells Fargo Community & Elders group that visits a nursing home in Arvada once a month. This is a fun, upbeat, one-hour volunteer opportunity. You are welcome to bring children of any age along. Starting in July, we will be visiting the third Saturday of each month from 10:30 - 11:45. Youth and Elders Group Leader
Bessie's Hope staff provide training for volunteers who are interested in facilitating the interaction between youth groups and groups of elders.
Family and Elders Program
Close to 70% of nursing home residents receive and average of ONE visit per year. In our Family and Elders Program, individuals and families are matched with nursing home elders who have little or visitation.
Community and Elders Program
Bessie’s Hope facilitates nursing home/assisted living visits by employees of corporations and members of community organizations. Corporations and community groups benefit from the team building experience and a special bond that is created among the individual participants. Volunteers receive training, materials and support.
Intergenerational Program Volunteer Opportunities
